Popular messaging app and tool WhatsApp will be saying a painful “goodbye” to Windows Phone.
WhatsApp is now ready to replicate same with some Android and iOS devices.
Starting from February 1, 2020, WhatsApp will no longer be functional on some phones which include Android 2.3.7 or iOS 7 (and earlier).
It implies that users who use an Android phone running on these earlier versions wont be able to access WhatsApp.
The same applies for users are on iPhone 4 or an earlier model.
Recall that when WhatsApp stopped the Windows Phone from its platform, the app couldn’t even open as it was impossible to access the chat history.
It is a wise idea to backup your chat history as soon as possible if your phones falls into the category to be banned.
