Belinda Peregrn Schüll (born 15 August 1989 or 1992) is a Spanish-Mexican singer, songwriter, and actress who goes by the mononym Belinda. She has lived in Mexico City since she was a child. She began her career as a child actor when she was cast as the lead in the Mexican children’s soap Amigos x Siempre when she was ten years old. She went on to star in the films Aventuras en el tiempo (2001) and Cómplices Al Rescate (2001). (2002).
Belinda (2003), her self-titled debut studio album, was a huge triumph, selling more than 1,1 million copies worldwide.
Many successful songs were released from the album, including her first hit “Lo Siento” and “Vivir,” the main theme of the 2004 drama Corazones al lmite.
