Martin Davis Eichelberger, Jr. (born September 3, 1943) is a professional golfer from the United States who has won tournaments on both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour.
Eichelberger was born in the Texas town of Waco. He began playing golf at the age of 13 in the junior programs at his family’s Waco golf club. He attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and blossomed into an outstanding amateur while there. He led the Oklahoma State Cowboys to the NCAA title in 1963. He graduated in 1965 and began his professional career in 1966.
Eichelberger has twelve professional victories to his name. There were four on the PGA Tour and six on the Champions Tour. During the first round of the 2002 Emerald Coast Classic, Eichelberger made a hole-in-one from 185 yards at the par 3 eighth hole.
Despite being a native Texan, Eichelberger spent the majority of his adult life in New Canaan, Connecticut. He relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2003, where he now lives with his wife, son, and daughter – fraternal twins.
