David Harbour Ethnicity

David Harbour is a well-known actor from the United States. For his work as Jim Hopper in the acclaimed Netflix science fiction drama series “Stranger Things,” Harbour was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award in 2018.

David Harbour was born on April 10, 1975, in White Plains, New York, to Nancy and Kenneth Harbour.

David will be 47 years old in the year 2022.

His mother is a real estate agent who specializes in residential properties. Harbour’s father is also a commercial real estate agent.

Nancy and Kenneth were always encouraging of their son’s performing career.

Harbour went to Byram Hills High School in Armonk, New York, with actors Sean Maher and Eyal Podell.

Harbour is well noted for his roles in Quantum of Solace as CIA Agent Gregg Beam, Revolutionary Road as Shep Campbell, and State of Play as Russell Crowe’s source. In a 2009 episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, he was praised for his portrayal of spree killer Paul Devildis.

Brokeback Mountain, The Green Hornet, End of Watch, and Between Us are among Harbour’s other cinematic credits. In the television series Elementary, he performed a tiny role as a head doctor in 2013. He also had a recurring role as Elliot Hirsch in The Newsroom from 2012 to 2014.

In the first season of the historical drama series Manhattan, Harbour played Dr. Reed Akley, a recurrent character.

In 2015, Harbour was cast in the Netflix science fiction horror thriller Stranger Things as Chief Jim Hopper. Harbour has received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (2017 and 2018) and Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for his work in the series (2018).

Harbour and the rest of the cast were nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series (2017).

In the superhero reboot film Hellboy, Harbour played the title character (2019). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Black Widow, he played Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (2021)
