The defamation action between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp is already in its third week in Fairfax, Virginia, where it began on April 11th.
The 58-year-old actor is suing his ex-wife for $50 million over a Washington Post piece she wrote in 2018. Heard is suing Depp for $100 million in retaliation.
Both allege they have been abused by the other. The trial is scheduled to last five weeks, and each day, more weird revelations about the marriage emerge.

While many of Depp and Heard’s admissions have come as a surprise to those following judicial proceedings through live-stream, Depp recalling a day in 2016 when he found faecal matter in his bed has come as a particular shock to those watching courtroom events via live-stream.
Depp wanted to travel back to his residence to collect stuff while Amber Heard was at the Coachella festival for a few days, according to Insider. His security, on the other hand, encouraged him not to go to the residence and showed him a photograph of his bedroom taken by a housekeeper.
The snapshot shows feces on Johnny Depp’s side of the bed in a “grotesque” position, according to the actor.
Amber blamed her pets for the excrement. Depp claimed in his testimony that Heard blamed the poop on her two dogs.
Mr Depp responded by stating that the dogs were “teacup Yorkies” who “weigh about 4lb each.” He went on to say that he had lived with the dogs for a long time and that the poop couldn’t have come from them.
Amber Heard now acknowledges that poop was a joke.

Jenkins told the court that he went on the Coachella trip with Ms Heard, but that they afterwards talked about the “surprise she left in the boss’s bed.”
