Prophet TB Joshua, the father of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has suggested that God’s timing was a factor in Pastor Dare Adeboye’s sudden death.
The cleric made the suggestion in a condolence letter to the Adeboye family posted on his ministry’s Facebook page on Friday, May 7. He claims that what matters is how well people survive, not how long they live.
The cleric also requested a moment of silence in honour of Pastor Dare’s burial. According to Joshua: “God does not need our permission; God’s timing is perfect. What matters is how good you do it, not how long you do it. What matters is how well we survive, not how long we live. Let us hope for the family’s well-being. Pray for the family and ministry to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit, our Comforter.
Please join me in observing a moment of silence in honour of Pastor Dare Adeboye.”
Meanwhile, the family of Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCC), has confirmed Pastor Dare’s burial arrangements.
The funeral rites will take place at the RCCG convention centre on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, according to a Facebook message by Adeboye’s personal assistant, Leke. Leke, who is also the deceased’s brother, thanked the public for their outpouring of support for the family at this difficult time.
The church made the announcement in a statement signed by the public relations department and shared on its Twitter account on May 6.
According to another post, the RCCG’s general overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, made his first public appearance on Thursday, May 6, following the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
