Gabriel (Gabe) Serbian was an American drummer and guitarist best known for his work with The Locust, Cattle Decapitation, and Holy Molar. He died on April 30, 2022. He was also a member of the hardcore/punk band supergroup Head Wound City.

He’s shared the stage alongside Alec Empire, Nic Endo, Charlie Clouser, and Merzbow, among others.

On a European tour, Serbian also performed live drums for Otto von Schirach, a Miami IDM/breakcore musician, as well as when von Schirach played/toured with The Locust.

Dave Lombardo of Slayer praised Serbian, saying that “The Locust is a band from the United Kingdom. Gabe Serbian is their drummer, and their music has the same impact on me now that D.R.I. did in the early 1980s.”
