Gisele Bündchen is a Brazilian fashion model who was born on July 20, 1980. She has been one of the world’s highest-paid models since 2001.

Bündchen was the 16th richest woman in the entertainment industry in 2007, and she topped Forbes’ list of top-earning models in 2012. Forbes ranked her as the 89th most powerful woman in the world in 2014.

In 1999, Vogue credited Bündchen with putting an end to the heroin chic era of modeling. From 1999 to 2006, Bündchen was a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

She is credited with popularizing the horse walk, a stomping movement created by a model raising her knees and kicking her feet to step.
