Roxy Paine (born 1966 in New York) is a contemporary artist from the United States. He received his education at the College of Santa Fe (now known as the Santa Fe University of Art and Design) in New Mexico as well as the Pratt Institute in New York, among other institutions. Paine has exhibited her work internationally since 1990, and her work is included in major collections such as the De Pont Museum of Contemporary Art in Tilburg, the Netherlands; the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C.; the Israel Museum in Jerusalem; the Museum of Modern Art in New York, NY; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in California; and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, NY.
