JESUS IS THE GREATEST MAN IN THE WORLD

Jesus is the greatest man in the world which is based on these three principles which actually matters; impact and Character.

Before we delve in, these following sources can help you understand the impact of Jesus as the greatest man who ever lived,

1. Impact:

This has to do with the amount of influence an individual or a group of individuals have had on a particular cause. Making an impact that can last entails that it has to be something unique, genuine and pure. Something that appeals for the greater good of people.

Take for instance Michael Jackson, referred by many as the King of Pop; Micheal Jackson’s talent was so unique and genuine that it appealed to millions if not billions of people around the world who were eager to hear him sing and of course dance. When you watch his performances on some of his concerts, you will not fail to notice how the fans are screaming and calling his name, many beckoning on him with cries such as “I love you Micheal” “You’re the best”! “I am with your baby” and some other cries and shouts that envelope the air even as he performs. His impact in the music world earned him the fame and he became famous.

Another famous person is Billy Graham. With regards to Christianity and impact in Christianity, one wouldn’t go far in mentioning names of people who impacted Christianity without mentioning the now famous name Billy Graham.

His massive evangelism effort in proclaiming the name of Jesus, earned him that spot making him famous too. He made his own impact.

2. Character:

We sure know even people with bad and controverisal character also get recognized and famous. Take for instance the German dictator Adolf Hitler who was responsible for the killing of millions of Jews; Yes! he is famous, but his popularity rides on controversy and evil. His name alone is very much dreaded because many do not want to have anything to do with him or his ideologies.

The two famous people mentioned in the first point above have two things in common which highlights character. They were humble and they were generally good people who championed causes to join the human race in peace and harmony. Billy Graham for instance taught Tolerance while Michael Jackson propagated Peace and love. Their collective good demeanor put them in good light; and they have rode on it to fame.

Talent:

Sure they had the talent to do what they did and do it well; gaining popularity and becoming famous all over the world. Their talent didn’t just lie on normal talent anyone could just have, but they were unique in creating content that most people loved. Michael Jackson’s songs and dance steps were so unique in those days and it made him famous. Billy Graham’s simplicity and his genuine way of preaching made him to be one of the most respected Christian leaders of his time. The fact that he did not soil himself with scandals also boosted his public image.

Someone can have a talent naturally or by learning. In the cases of Billy and Michael, their talents were natural I believe and they never struggled to become famous. It just came to them.

We have established some things that include;

1. To be famous, you must do somethings

2. To be famous, you must undo somethings

Now the question, Who is the most famous person ever?

The first name that comes to mind is Jesus Christ. Yes! you heard me right. Jesus Christ the Jewish teacher who founded Christianity.

Now who is Jesus Christ and why is he regarded as the most famous person in the world?

Firstly, according to the bible, no name in heaven or on earth is above the name of Jesus; that might not be the kind of response you are looking for but Jesus is the most famous person of all time because there is virtually no place that name hasn’t been mentioned in. You might pause a bit and say really? but think about it. Even in the isolated island of North Sentinel, Jesus has been mentioned. The missionary who tried to preach in the Island and was killed must ahve probably tried to call on the name Jesus even as he was killed!

That aside, Jesus Christ’s popularity and fame has never dwindled even centuries after his death. Even when he was here on earth, Jesus was famous. Why was Jesus famous?

  1. The Miracles he performed

  2. His Teachings on love

The points mentioned above will be looked into even as we unravel why Jesus is the most famous person ever.

I. The Miracles He Performed

When you take a good look at the bible especially when you read the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke or John, you will be exposed to a ton of stories that detail the miracles that Jesus performed.

Many of these miracles were so outstanding in their days that it got Jesus dedicated followers who would follow him around hoping for a miracle; and of course this made him famous.

The notable miracles by Jesus include;

1. Turning Water to Wine in a Wedding Ceremony

2. Raising a dead child back to Life

3. Feeding the five thousand with five loaves of bread and two fishes.

These miracles Jesus performed drew thousands of people, hence making him famous and well known in his times. The uniqueness of these miracles and the way they were performed involving parables and teachings also increased his popularity and also made him famous.

II. His Teachings on Love:

Show me someone who has advised you to love your enemy! Of course you will cringe in disgust, but Jesus told his followers to do just that! Jesus Christ did not end there, he also advised and taught love for your neighbor more than your very own self. Weird right! Yea, it is. But you know what? That teaching made Jesus famous. Why should anyone love his enemies, the people who heard this teaching then might have thought.
