Frankie Jonas (born September 28, 2000) is a singer and former child actor from the United States.
Jonas was a frequent character in the Disney Channel series Jonas and voiced Ssuke in the 2009 film Ponyo. He also had a little part in the Disney Channel original film Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.
He has also been on the E! show Married to Jonas, which follows the life of his brother Kevin Jonas. Jonas was named “Choice Breakout TV Star Male” at the Teen Choice Awards in 2009.
Jonas provided the voice for Hayao Miyazaki’s animated picture Ponyo, which was released in American theaters on August 14, 2009.
He portrayed Ssuke, a character that is befriended by Ponyo, a young fish who aspires to be a human girl (voiced by Noah Cyrus).
They both sing the film’s theme tune. He was a recurrent role in the Disney Channel Original Series Jonas, for which he received the Teen Choice Award for “Choice Breakout TV Star Male” in 2009.
His first film appearance was as Junior Rocker Trevor in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, with his older brothers the Jonas Brothers.
