Laurie Weiskopf is an American woman who is best known to be the wife of Tom Weiskopf, the PGA Tour winner of 16 tournaments, including the 1973 British Open, who died on August 21, 2022, at the age of 79.

The 1970s were his most prosperous decade. Between 1968 and 1982, he won 16 PGA Tour titles, including the 1973 Open Championship. After finishing his tournament career, Weiskopf went on to become a well-known golf course architect.
Weiskopf collaborated with golf course architect Jay Moorish on Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, which Golf Digest named the best new course of 1986. He completed 25 courses with Moorish before working with Phil Smith.
Weiskopf constructed 80 courses, including Loch Lomond in Scotland and a restoration of the North Course at Torrey Pines in 2016 that met his standards – tough at the top level, pleasurable for everybody.
