Mathias Pogba (born August 19, 1990) is a Guinean footballer who most recently played for Championnat National 2 club Belfort.
Mathias Pogba began his career as a youth with Celta Vigo before moving to France to play for Quimper before following his more famous brother Paul to the United Kingdom, where he played for Wrexham and Crewe Alexandra.
After four years in the English leagues, he moved to Italian Serie B side Pescara in 2014, but returned to England a few months later with Crawley Town.
After brief stints at Partick Thistle in Scotland and Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherlands, he joined Tours in September 2018. During the 2019-20 season, he played for both Manchego and Lorca in Spain. Pogba has also represented Guinea five times since his debut in 2013.
Mathias Pogba, along with his twin brother Florentin, joined the youth system at Celta Vigo after growing up in Paris. Pogba stated that his time at the club was difficult due to language barriers, living abroad, and being away from his family.
He returned to France to play for Quimper in the fourth division, where he scored twice in one season. He shared a flat with Algerian international Riyad Mahrez while at the club.
