Gombe Governor Ignores Tribe: Appoints Igbo Man As Top Special Adviser

Gombe state governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has amassed praises to himself as he appointed an Igbo man to be his special adviser on Inter-community relations.

The governor approved the appointment of 2 Special Advisers and a Director General.

The new appointees are:

1. Group Captain Bitrus P. Bilal ( Rtd)
– Special Adviser on Development Control, Compliance and Enforcement

2. Prince Chidebelu Cornelius Ewuzie
-Special Adviser on Inter- Community Relations

3. Dr. Muazu Shehu
Director- General
Research and Documentation

The appointments, which take immediate effect, are in recognition of their track records of achievements, experience, loyalty and commitment to service.

The Secretary to the state Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who conveyed the appointments on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, congratulated the new Special Advisers and the Director-General, urging them to bring to bear their wealth of experience in the discharge of their duties in their respective offices.
