Nigeria Records Highest Covid-19 Cases in a Day

Nigeria has now recorded its highest number of Covid-19 cases for a single day; (790) cases. This was revealed in the latest update by NCDC (Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) .

The top disease control agency released this list on the 1st of July on the affected states with their numerical active cases. The previous record for the highest number of covid-19 was on the 28th of June, standing at 779.

The total tally of infected people in the country rose to 26,484 from 25, 694 reported on Tuesday evening. This is a breakdown of the affected states in the recent cases of Covid-19;

So far, Cross Rivers state is the only state in the country that has not yet officially recorded a Covid-19 case.
