Putin Approves World First Coronavirus Vaccine As His Daughter Gets Vaccinated

The Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that his country’s (Russia) Health Ministry has approved the world’s FIRST Covid-19 vaccine. This comes with the information that his own daughter has also been vaccinated.

This announcement came on Tuesday morning when Putin revealed that Russia has registered the world’s first vaccine against coronavirus. According to Putin, the vaccine is effective in building blocks of immunity against the virus responsible for the global pandemic.

Putin said,

“As far as I know, a vaccine against the coronavirus infection has been registered this morning (in Russia) for the first time in the world,” the President told members of the government. “I thank everyone who worked on the vaccine – it’s a very important moment for the whole world.

However, Putin has also insisted that vaccination in Russia should only be carried out on a voluntary basis, which means the vaccination is not compulsory. He also revealed to the Russian Press stating one of his daughters has already been vaccinated.

Putin also directed his Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to provide more detailed information about the country’s plans for immunization.

Recall that last week, the Health Minister stated that clinical trials of the vaccine were developed by the Gamelei Research Center in Moscow.
