SR Reveals ₦522m House Bought By Ajimobi in US

Investigations by news outlet Sahara Reporters have revealed a $1.5 million home bought by former governor of Oyo state Sen. Abiola Ajimobi who recently died of Covid-19.

The EXCLUSIVE report reveals that the house which is located in Rockville, Maryland, United States; was ALLEGEDLY purchased by the former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, in 2016 for $1,347,200m — N522,713,600m (N388 per USD)

According to Sahara Reporters, The residential building located at 10821 Symphony Park Drive, which reportedly attracts an annual tax of $18,198 — N7,060,824m –was purchased by Ajimobi during his second term in office as governor of the state in 2016.

However, it is also reported that the Code of Conduct Bureau is not aware of the property as it was not listed among assets declared by the former Oyo governor until his tenure in office elapsed in 2019.

This allegation by the News Outlet has not been proven yet by Federal Authorities.
