Umahi, Ortom Okowa All Test Positive As Covid-19 Hits Nigerian Governors

From the first case of a governor having Covid-19 a month ago, the virus has now hit Umahi, Ortom and Okowa in a space of just two days.

News hit the Nigerian social media space on the 4th of July revealing that the virus has now visited Samuel Ortom the governor of Benue state, his wife was not spared as they both announced they would be isolating.

Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi state on his own part has now handed over to his deputy Kelechi Igwe who will now oversee the affairs in the state; in a statement he personally signed. Umahi also revealed he has not shown any symptoms but will isolate in accordance to NCDC guidelines.
