Nick Khan Career
Khan, a former practicing attorney, joined International Creative Management (ICM) in 2006, where he founded their Sports Media branch and represented some of sports broadcasting’s greatest personalities.
Khan joined CAA in 2012 as the Co-Head of the Television Department. During his time there, Khan continued to represent the leading broadcasters while also representing WWE, the Southeastern Conference (SEC), Top Rank Boxing, and others, assisting them in negotiating billions of dollars in media deals. It was more of the same in January 2021, when he and his boss, WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, struck a five-year deal with longstanding partner NBCUniversal, awarding its platform Peacock exclusive streaming rights to WWE Network in the United States.
Khan has also signed arrangements for a Netflix documentary on McMahon, an audio content partnership with Spotify/The Ringer, a short scripted series with Blumhouse, and a “Friday Night SmackDown” event in Miami in July 2021 as part of the Rolling Loud music festival.
Khan joined WWE in August of 2020, but his career in the entertainment industry dates back decades. Despite his current role in the organization, Khan has a lengthy history with the WWE thanks to his prior work at Creative Artists Agency, better known as CAA, one of the world’s most influential talent agencies.
