Liverpool Win First Ever Premier League Title for 30 years

English Football club Liverpool is currently in jubilation mode after winning their first premier league title in over 30 years. The club headed by Jurgen Klopp really impressed this season without doubt as they played an exciting football in the 19/20 football season. Liverpool have finally ended their 30-year wait for a 19th top-flight title after Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea on Thursday night.

Confirmation of the joyous news, sparked jubilation across Merseyside and many who identify with Anfield, including club legends past and present immediately started delivering emotional eulogies to the manager who has triumphed where seven other predecessors have failed since 1990.

Liverpool’s breakthrough after a long wait became reality after Chelsea defeated Manchester city today, June 25th. So far, Liverpool have enjoyed an amazing season that has seen them beaten just once in the league so far. That defeat came in a  shock 3-0 loss at struggling Watford in February.

Frank Lampard who found it amusing that Liverpool fans are thanking Chelsea for defeating second-placed Manchester city said,

“They have been outstanding. They should celebrate for their brilliant performances. That’s for them to celebrate whenever and we will just focus on our performance tonight.

“You want to deliver against Man City. Tonight won’t be pivotal [in the top-four race] but we want a result.

“We have one of the best teams in the country or the world coming to the Bridge – it’s going to be a tough match.”
