The excited minister shared on his Twitter account on Monday night,
“SpaceX just flew over Nigeria on its way to the Space Station. Future Aviation coming closer!”
Factboyz.com gathers that the rocket piloted by veteran USA NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley took off from the United States on Saturday and entered the International Space Station on Sunday after a remarkable 19-hour journey.
The spacecraft launch is historic as it is the first crewed flight from US soil since the space shuttle program ended in 2011.
The arrival of the astronauts completes the first phase of the trip, which was designed to test the capabilities of the Crew Dragon capsule.
For now, Elon Musk the brain behind this is not celebrating so much though he thought the moment was emotional, however the mission would only be declared a success when the astronauts return to earth in a couple of months time.
