Timothy White (March 25, 1954 – June 19, 2022) worked as a professional wrestler referee in the United States. He worked as a producer for World Wrestling Entertainment’s SmackDown! brand. In addition to his refereeing duties, White served as André the Giant’s assistant in the 1980s and 1990s.

In the 1980s and 1990s, White worked as Andre the Giant’s helper in addition to his refereeing duties. White began serving as a WWE official in 1985, and shortly after Andre’s death, he became a full-time referee in 1993.

Due to a succession of shoulder injuries, White’s career as a referee came to an end in 2004, but he continued with the firm until 2009.

Tim White, a veteran WWE referee, died on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 68, according to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, who noted that former WWE referee Tim White passed away and sent his sympathies to his family, friends, and coworkers.

Tim White Career

While working as André the Giant’s agent, White began as a part-time referee in 1985. White became a full-time referee in 1993, shortly after Andre’s death, and began appearing more frequently on pay-per-views and WWF television tapings.

On April 10, 2018, White was featured in the HBO documentary André the Giant, in which he gave multiple interviews. In June 2021, he featured on WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures.

White died on June 19, 2022, at the age of 68.
