Gbemisola Anthonia Adefuye was born on July 20, 1985, into a family of five children.
Her schooling began at Our Lady of Apostle Primary School, and she later attended Queen’s College in Lagos. She then went on to the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom, where she earned a degree in Marketing and Economics. She also went to Los Angeles’ Relativity Film School to hone her acting skills.

Toni returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom in 2009. She had a tutor in London who coached her in photography for three months prior to that. Then she became a photography design model in Nigeria, focusing on fashion and culture. She began by submitting her work to various publications and proposing a commercial partnership. She was able to secure several contracts with clients that appreciated her work.
She later worked for D’banj’s reality programme, Koko Mansion. Her work catapulted her into the spotlight and launched her career. She then went on to work for publications such as Genevieve, FAB, MADE, Sound City, Vanguard’s Allure, and others. She has also collaborated with artists such as Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Banky W, Wizkid, Omawumi, Waje, among others.
