Donald Trump has stated his disapproval of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on numerous occasions, and in a Monday interview with former Good Morning Britain (GMB) host Piers Morgan, the former president predicted that the couple’s marriage would fail.
Throughout the interview, Trump made numerous controversial remarks about Meghan, never failing to make his thoughts about her plain.
Trump said,
“Harry is whipped, do you know the expression? the former president said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.”I won’t use the full expression but Harry is whipped like no person I think I’ve ever seen. I’m not a fan of Meghan, I’m not a fan and I wasn’t from the very beginning. I think poor Harry is being led around by his nose.”
When asked if he believed their relationship would end badly, he responded it would, complimenting himself on his foresight.
During the conversation, Trump stated that he and Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, disagree on how to deal with Meghan and Harry. He contended that the couple’s royal titles should be revoked.
Trump accused Meghan of being rude to the Queen in December of last year, while also reflecting on her relationship with Harry. He also reiterated that he has never considered Meghan to be a “fan”
“I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one,” Trump said.
“I think Harry has been used horribly and I think someday he will regret it. I think Harry’s been used and been used terribly. I think it’s ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen. I think she’s very disrespectful to the Royal Family and most importantly, to the Queen.”
When Meghan and Harry released a video before of the 2020 US presidential election, Trump declared he was “not a fan” The royal couple encouraged Americans to vote in the election, but they did not endorse a candidate in the video. At a press conference in September 2020, Trump responded to the video by saying Harry will need “luck” in the future.
