Kevin Samuels’ mother, Beverly Samuels-Burch, confirmed his death at the age of 56 to NBC News but refused to reveal what caused it. She said that she learned of her son’s death through social media.

They said they received a call of a man who had passed out at his residence. When first responders arrived on the scene, they were obliged to perform CPR on Samuels, who remained unresponsive and died, according to NBC News.
