Funke Akindele’s marriage with JJC Skillz has hit the rocks and there’s a lot of buzz being generated following the divorce that has now hit their star-studded marriage.
Film actress and producer Funke Akindele, popularly known as Jenifa, is from Nigeria. From 1998 until 2002, Akindele played the title role in the sitcom I Need to Know. In 2009, she was honored with the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
She became well-known because of her performance in the film Jenifa, which gave her the moniker Jenifa. She became well-known thanks to the Omo Ghetto trilogy. For her work as the star of the television program Jenifa’s Diary, Funke Akindele won the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy.

There are reports that Funke Akindele kicked her former spouse JJC Skillz out of their house. The report is not totally untrue as the two are no longer living together following their separation.
Following the split between JJC Skillz and Funke Akindele, JJC Skillz released a statement on Instagram confirming the marriage crash. He wrote,
Dear Friends and family I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us. I know I have tried my best to fix things but I believe it is beyond repair now. 3 months ago and at Funkes insistence I moved out of the house and apart from AMVCA have not been able to get Funke to sit down in an amicable manner to discuss the future of our relationship. I’m making this announcement so that the public is clear that we both are pursuing separate lives. We still have issues that need to be addressed such as the custody and wellbeing of our children which is paramount as well as business interests which need to be disentangled but I have no doubt that these will be resolved one way or the other
