Zaire Wade Background
His father married actress Gabrielle Union in 2012 after his parents separated in 2010.
Xavier and Zaya are his younger stepbrothers, and Kaavia is his stepsister. His father would frequently take him and Zaya to games, where they would shoot about with the squad during warm-ups.
Zaire Wade Education
Wade attended Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois, for his freshman year of high school. Dahveon Morris, his cousin, was also a member of the team, which was dubbed the Caravans.
Both were members of the freshman team at the institution. Wade spent the next two years of high school at American Heritage School in Miami, Florida, where he played basketball.
Zaire Wade Career/Draft
Wade was removed from his high school team for not being good enough on May 29, 2019, and later announced that he would transfer to Sierra Canyon School, a private K–12 school in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, for his 2019–20 senior year.
He transferred to Monteverde Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire after high school.
Two years have passed. Wade is 19 years old and has yet to make an NBA team, despite multiple scouts stating that he isn’t talented enough.
Wade was just picked 10th overall by the Salt Lake City Stars, the Utah Jazz’s G league franchise, in which his father Dwyane Wade owns a minority stake.
Zaire scored 10 points off the bench in his G League debut.
