Rossano Rubicondi, Ivana Trump’s fourth ex-husband, was found dead in late October with almost no one knowing he was severely ill, his parents revealed in an emotional interview on Italian television.
Rubicondi’s mother and father, Rosa and Claudio, opened up about his legacy, learning of his death, and his continuous friendship with Donald Trump’s famous ex-wife on Pomeriggio Cinque.
Rossano, 49, was to be cremated, they said.
According to Rossano’s parents’ interview, it was Ivana who cared for him while he was secretly unwell for the past year. While host Barbara d’Urso stated that Rossano had liver cancer before to his mishap in the bathtub, his father stated that there was no indication of Rossano’s illness in their several phone calls.
Claudio claimed that while Rossano was alone at home, a vein in his lung broke and he fell in the bathtub, hurting his head. He was discovered the following morning.
Ivana, 72, who had a rocky relationship with Rossano but remained close to him towards the end, contacted his parents herself.
“She called us to convey her sorrow,” Claudio added, describing his own distress.
Looking back, he claimed, Rossano appeared to be happy and settled, with a decent life. Both he and his wife stated that they will now remember their kid in happy moments, like as going at old images of him on the beach or, in a particularly touching recollection, singing at a restaurant with his father. His stuff and the remaining ashes were to be delivered to them in Italy.

Rossano’s death was announced publicly for the first time on October 29 by Italian TV personality Simona Ventura, who published a vintage photo of herself and Rubicondi on Twitter.
After six years of courtship and a reported “domestic incident” over the prenup, Ivana married Rossano, her fourth husband, in April 2008. Future President Trump staged their opulent $3 million ceremony at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, and their daughter, Ivanka Trump, served as maid of honor.
