Coronavirus Cases in Nigeria HIT 10,000 As 307 New Cases Are Confirmed

The coronavirus pandemic has now affected 10,000 Nigerians in Nigeria. This was according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). This was revealed in their official Twitter handle;

This new figure is expected to put more pressure on the Nigerian government to increase efforts to contian the spread of the virus. Though some efforts have been put in place, yielding good results; controversy still brews following the government’s decision to partially lift the lockdown and amidst the continuos rising number of covid-19 cases in the country.

Till date, 10162 cases have been confirmed, 3007 cases have been discharged and 287 deaths have been recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory is headed by Jayamma Abanobi and it is one of the fastest growing News and Information outlet in Nigeria
