Laney Chantal Cause of Death
Laney Chantal passed away on October 31, 2022, from an accidental drug overdose. She was 33 years old at the time of her death.
Laney Chantal died as a result of an accidental drug overdose, according to her family. Chantal was open with her fans about being diagnosed with BPD and battling addiction, in addition to other mental health issues.
Laney started a GoFundMe page in 2019 to raise money for a sober living facility. However, the GoFundMe page only raised $1,661 of its $4,000 goal.
Following her death, her family established a memorial fund in her honor, with all proceeds going to The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation, a non-profit that promotes mental health research in an effort to alleviate the suffering caused by mental illness.
