Mo Abudu Biography
Mo was born in the UK on 11 September 1964, and lived there for her first seven years until her family relocated to Lagos, Nigeria. Before returning to the UK to continue her study at the Hammersmith County Secondary School, she completed her elementary education at Fiwayage Girl’s Grammar School.
The origin of Mo’s parents is Ondo Town in Nigeria’s Ondo State. She is the eldest of three children, and when she was 11 years old, her father passed away. She earned a Master’s in Human Resource Management from London’s renowned University of Westminster. Tokunbo Abudu’s ex-wife Mo and they shared two kids together, Temidayo and Adekoyejo.
Fast-forward to 1993, when Mo Abudu relocated to Nigeria. Mo Abudu began her career phase of life in 1987 as a recruitment consultant with the Atlas Recruitment Consultancy firm in the UK.
She received her postgraduate training in human resources management at the University of Westminster London. It is important to note that Mo Abudu earned her way through tertiary education rather than letting the passing of her father influence her choices.
She went back to Nigeria to run ExxonMobil’s human resources and training department. From there, she discovered a means to follow her passion for television and film production. Mo Abudu established Ebonylife TV in 2006; it was a television network with a presence in more than 40 African nations. It was DSTV Channel 165 for Nigeria. She later went on to produce the well-known TV program Moments with Mo, which featured guests from various walks of life engaging in conversation with Mo Abudu.
