Samantha Armytage (born on September 4, 1976.) is an Australian journalist and television host.

From 2013 until 2021, Armytage and David Koch co-hosted Sunrise, a morning television program on the Seven Network. She has also served as a presenter for Seven’s 4.30 News and Weekend Sunrise.

To Mac and Elizabeth Armytage, she was born. She was raised on New South Wales’ Bolaro Station, a sheep farm close to Adaminaby, where her father served as station manager.

Armytage is an ancestor of George Armytage, a pioneering British settler in Australia who participated in an assault on the native Aboriginal population. Charlie is her younger brother.

She began attending Kincoppal-Rose Bay boarding school in Sydney in Year Nine and afterwards attended Charles Sturt University to further her education.

At WIN Television in Canberra, she started her media career in 1999 as a news reporter and presenter. Later, she worked as the chief political reporter for Sky News Australia starting in 2002.
