Stause was born in the Kentucky town of Draffenville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in theater from Murray State University in 2003. Stause is the youngest of four sisters. Shonda, her older sister, appeared in seasons 1 and 3 of Selling Sunset and now lives in St. Louis.
