Taylor Pomaski Body Found

Taylor Pomaski, the missing girlfriend of ex-NFL player Kevin Ware, has been identified, according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office Senior Deputy Thomas Gilliland.

The 29-year-old woman’s remains were discovered during a search in north Harris County in December 2021 and have been verified to be hers.

The official conclusion was made on Saturday, according to Gilliland, by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to KPRC-TV, deputies say no suspects have been apprehended in connection with Pomaski’s case. According to the publication, an official cause of death has yet to be determined, and toxicology findings are still pending.

Pomaski was last seen at a gathering at her house on Stallion Brooks Lane in Spring, Texas, on April 25, 2021, according to the HCSO. Pomaski was suspected of being the victim of foul play by investigators.

The woman’s father, Stephen Pomaski, told ABC-13 that her family realized they hadn’t spoken to her since April on Mother’s Day.

In April, Ware was arrested and charged with two charges of possession with intent to supply a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a handgun as a felon in Montgomery County.

On April 20, 2021, the former San Francisco 49ers tight end was released on a $23,000 bond, five days before Pomaski vanished.

Ware, who previously played for the Washington Commanders and the San Francisco 49ers, has been identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of Pomaski.

Pomaski’s remains were discovered in December by Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators and members of Texas EquuSearch during a search in North Harris County. The Institute of Forensic Science has recognized the remains as hers, according to a sheriff’s office official who talked to the New York Daily News on Sunday.
