DOE Health Screening
DOE Health Screening – DOE Health Screening seeks to ensure that a healthy population of people can access a building. The DOE Health Screening basically screens you and asks personal questions in relation to your health and health history and with the advent of the Coronavirus, questions related to Covid-19 can also be asked.
Before entering DOE buildings, all DOE employees, students, families, and guests must take a health test. This health check must be performed on each day of arrival, and the results will be reset every day at midnight. When you arrive at the facility, you will be asked to display the findings of your screening, either on your phone or on a printout.
Also, when entering DOE buildings, you are required to wear a face mask.
Questions can arise such as your vaccination history and whether or not you have had a close contact with someone who recently tested for Covid-19.
How To Complete DOE Health Screening
Every day before entering the school building, students must complete a survey. The survey can be completed online, or you will be given a paper form when you arrive at school. A temperature check will be performed on students filling out the paper form at school.
How To Complete DOE Health Screening
- Step 1: Visit https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/ for more information.
- Step 2: For Students, Families, and Visitors, click the Guest Screening Button.
- Step 3: Enter your information under “I am a visitor or family member.”
- Step 4: Type your school’s official name, e.g ABC High School, in the school field, and our school will appear in the drop-down list.
- Step 5: Fill in the blanks and click Submit.
- Step 6: You will receive a message similar to the one below, stating that you have been cleared to enter DOE Schools and Facilities. We request that you bring this documentation with you anytime you enter the building.
