Zhegrova was selected as the top athlete at the Milan Junior Camp in Kosovo in 2012.
Zhegrova committed to Basel for a period of three years on September 22, 2020, and was given the number 30. He was named to the starting lineup and made his debut five days later in a 1-0 away victory over Servette. In his third game for Basel, seven days after making his club debut, Zhegrova scored his first goal in a 3-2 Swiss Super League victory at home against Luzern.
Zhegrova left the club and signed for French team Lille OSC for an unknown sum, the club confirmed on January 14.
