Hironobu Abe born (30 May 1952) is a well-known Japanese personality. He is best known to be Shinzo Abe’s brother. Hironobu Abe is also the president and CEO of Mitsubishi Shji Packaging Corporation.

Hironobu Abe Brother

Shinzo Abe, a politician from Japan, also held the positions of president of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) from 2012 to 2020 and prime minister of Japan from 2006 to 2007.

The longest-serving prime minister in Japan was Abe. Abe also held the office of Chief Cabinet Secretary under Junichiro Koizumi from 2005 to 2006, and he briefly held the position of opposition leader in 2012.

Abe worked for the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), which is now the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, after returning to Japan (METI).

Later, he was the Japan External Trade Organization’s director-general (JETRO). Abe was named minister of economy, trade, and industry in 2007.

He held this position up until 2008, when he resigned as a result of criticism surrounding his involvement in a land transaction.

Abe has been working as a business consultant since quitting the political scene. In addition, he serves as the head of the board of directors for Tokio Marine Holdings, the biggest insurer in Japan.

Nobusuke Kishi, Hironobu Abe’s maternal grandfather, was the de facto “economic king” of occupied China and Manchukuo, a Japanese puppet state in Northern China, in the years preceding World War II. He also served as Vice Minister of Munitions in Prime Minister Hideki Toj’s cabinet during that conflict.

From Seikei University, where he majored in public administration, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1977.

Abe started working for Kobe Steel in April 1979. After quitting the business in 1982, he worked in the government in a variety of roles, including executive assistant to the minister of foreign affairs, private secretary to the head of the LDP General Council, and private secretary to the LDP secretary-general.

The name of Hironobu Abe’s wife is unknown. Two sons were born to Hironobu Abe. Ryoma is the name of his first son, while Hikaru is the name of his second son.
