Luke Combs Career – Combs released his first EP, The Way She Rides, in February 2014. Can I Get an Outlaw, his second EP, was released later that year. Combs’ first single, “Hurricane,” debuted at number 46 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2016, selling 15,000 copies in its first week.

This One’s for You, Combs’ third EP, was released in November 2015. Combs was named one of Sounds Like Nashville’s “Artists to Watch” in late 2016.

The debut song from This One’s for You, “Hurricane,” was re-released on Columbia Nashville when Combs inked a deal with Sony Music Nashville.

On May 15, 2017, “Hurricane” debuted at number one on the country radio airplay chart, where it remained for two weeks.

Combs’ major label debut album, This One’s for You, was released in June 2017 on Columbia Nashville and River House Artists.

In its first week, the album debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and number five on the US Billboard 200. On June 19, 2017, the album’s second single, “When It Rains It Pours,” was released to country radio.

Combs released a deluxe version of the album titled This One’s for You Too in June 2018, which included five bonus tracks, two of which (“She Got the Best of Me” and “Beautiful Crazy”) were released as singles and both reached number one. With his first five songs, “Beautiful Crazy” reached number one on Country Airplay in February 2019, giving Combs a total of five number ones on the Billboard country chart.

This One’s for You, Combs’ debut album, debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 in 2017. On November 8, 2019, Combs released his second album, What You See Is What You Get. The album debuted at the top of the charts in many countries, making it his first to do so. On October 23, 2020, a deluxe edition of the album was published, which included the song “Forever After All.”

Three other country charts – Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs, and Country Digital Song Sales – all ranked the song number one.

On June 11, 2019, Combs was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry as the newest member.

This One’s for You spent its 44th week at the top of the Top Country Albums chart in August 2019, breaking the record for the longest reign at the top of the chart by a male artist.
