Rishi Sunak Religion: Hindu
Rishi Sunak is Hindu by religion. Rishi Sunak took his parliamentary oath on the Bhagavad Gita in the House of Commons. In August of 2009, the world is ruled by three Gods, according to Hinduism. Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is the protector, and Shiva is the destroyer. Lord Vishnu did his part to keep the world safe by incarnating himself in various forms during times of crisis.
Rishi Sunak Biography
Rishi Sunak was born into an immigrant family. His grandparents immigrated from Punjab, in northwestern India, to East Africa, where he was born in Tanzania and Kenya, respectively.
They met and married after their families moved to Southampton, England, in the 1960s. Sunak’s father worked for the National Health Service as a general practitioner.
Sunak’s mother, a pharmacist, owned and operated a small pharmacy, which Sunak, the eldest of their three children, would eventually manage.
Rishi Sunak is a British politician who was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2020 to 2022 after serving as Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 2019 to 2020. He has been the Conservative Party’s Member of Parliament for Richmond since 2015.
